1. Shop ready

Space, power, air, and PPE before the crate opens.

⚠ Caution — Keep clear of motion

Never work under a moving gantry or place hands near racks, pinions, belts, bearings, torch lifters, or cable chains while energized.

1. Clear a safe footprint
Plan table footprint plus operator access, scrap handling, and cable/air routes. Keep combustibles away from the plasma work area.
- Floor is level enough to assemble and level the table
- Overhead clearance for gantry and torch
- Fume control / ventilation plan ready
2. Utilities
Confirm supplied table voltage, plasma input voltage, breaker, and receptacle match equipment labels and local electrical requirements. Compressed air must be clean, dry, and oil-free at the flow the plasma manual requires.
- Correct circuit and protective earth available
- Compressor and dryer/filters sized for plasma duty
- PPE: eyes/face, hearing, respiratory, gloves, fire watch
Warning: Do not guess at mains wiring. Use a qualified electrician when uncertain.
