UC100 LEDs and Sync Error
Genuine CNCdrive UC100 green/blue states and sync recovery.
Use a dry test whenever a live arc is not required — plasma power off or torch-firing output safely disabled.
Machine-specific profiles, wiring diagrams, pin maps, motor tuning, and cut charts always override generic examples. Escalate when unsure.
Symptom
UC100 not found, blue LED off, or Sync Error during use.
Quick checks
- ☐Stop motion and plasma; read LEDs without unplugging during firmware activity
- ☐Mach3 running with UC100 selected
- ☐Direct USB (no unpowered hub); cable away from torch lead
Fix
LED meanings
- Green steady — powered OK
- Green slow blink ~1 Hz — firmware update; wait; do not disconnect
- Green fast blink ~5 Hz — firmware error; official rematch procedure
- Blue active/flicker — Mach3 communication OK
- Blue off — no Mach3 connection (device/plugin/driver/USB)
- Blue slow blink + Sync Error — sync lost
Sync Error / not found
Close heavy PC apps; disable sleep/USB suspend; reseat USB/DSUB; known-good port; Device Manager clean; reinstall official matched UCx00 package; reset Mach3 device selection. Sync at arc start → also Grounding/noise. Do not resume from uncertain position after loss.
